what's waterford, maine like?

waterford is a beautiful, rural area in southern maine. our wedding is taking place labor day weekend, which historically has gorgeous weather at this time of the year. temperatures during the day will get into the mid to high 70s, cooling off to the low 60s at night.


this area in maine is very special to us, as we visit carly's family cabin, which is 15 minutes away from the venue, every year.

how do I get to and from waterford, maine?

what is the dress code for your wedding?

welcome reception

for our friday evening welcome reception we suggest cocktail attire. for the women this can include mini or midi length dresses, and for the men we suggest non-denim pants and a blazer or jacket.


ceremony and reception

our ceremony and reception has a formal dress code. for the women, we recommend floor-length dresses, jump-suits, or pant-suits. for men we suggest suits with ties as optional.


sunday brunch

come dressed casually for our open-house brunch! after a night of celebration, feel free to wear anything from a sunday sundress to your sunday sweatpants.

are there any colors or styles you prefer for me to wear?

we would love our guests to wear muted, earth toned colors to match the cozy fall vibes that are beginning in maine at this time of year

please wear whatever styles are most comfortable to you! due to the chilly weather at night, we do recommend wearing sleeves or bringing a jacket.

due to the limited amount of space in our venue, we ask that you please rsvp for only the people listed on your invitation.

can i bring my children?

While we will surely miss your little ones, unless indicated on your rsvp our wedding will be an adults-only event.

what type of food will you be serving?

our reception will have a variety of food options, and will offer accommodations for both vegetarian and gluten-free.

how should i rsvp?

please rsvp either by mail or online before June 1st, 2024. you can visit the rsvp tab on this website to rsvp online and receive a personalized itinerary for our wedding weekend.

do you have a registry?

yes, please see the registry section on our website! in lieu of physical gifts, we are asking our guests to contribute to one of our many cash funds, which will go towards anything from fun experiences to common newlywed expenses.
